Abandon an un-confirmed split — revert the bundle to a normal document

Reverts an AWAITING_SPLIT bundle (split started but never confirmed) back to a STANDALONE document, clearing the dormant 'Finish splitting' state. Rejects a CONFIRMED bundle (delete or re-split it instead); idempotent if the document is not awaiting split.
