Search Brave Images

Runs Brave Images for q in a real browser and returns the image results as JSON, in the same shape as /images/google-search. Every result carries imageUrl (the origin image, not a thumbnail), sourceDomain, sourcePageUrl, title, sourceName, thumbnailUrl, width and height. Brave returns its whole result set (~200 images) on one page, billed as one request; max_results caps it.

Query parameters

Image search term, e.g. 'eiffel tower'.

max_resultsinteger nullable

Optional cap on the number of results returned (default: all, ~200).

proxy_countrystring nullable

Country to search from (ISO-2); Brave takes the region from it. Defaults to US.

Response

JSON with a results array plus the query and counts.
