Get Event Volume

Get daily event volume (SIGNIN, WATCH, CREATECHARACTER, CREATESTORY) for a date range.

Migration Note:

  • Event-based analytics using data_tags array
  • Supports both legacy (SIGNIN_1234567890) and new (SIGNIN|2025-11-04T23:51:57.537107) formats
  • Calculated in PostgreSQL for performance and accuracy

Event Types Tracked:

  • SIGNIN: User sign-in events
  • WATCH: Episode watch events
  • CREATECHARACTER: Character creation events
  • CREATESTORY: Story creation events

Timestamp Handling:

  • Legacy format: EVENTTYPE_timestamp or EVENTTYPE_uuid_timestamp
  • New format: EVENTTYPE|ISO8601 or EVENTTYPE_uuid|ISO8601
  • All timestamps converted to UTC dates
  • Invalid timestamps and timestamp=0 are ignored

Query Parameters:

  • start_date: ISO date string (YYYY-MM-DD), defaults to 30 days ago
  • end_date: ISO date string (YYYY-MM-DD), defaults to today

Returns: Array of daily event counts: [ { "date": "2026-01-01", "event_count": 1234 }, ... ]
