Revoke an open link code of the signed-in account

Close a code, and collect the node with it if nobody ever claimed it.

Always 204. A code that does not exist, one that belongs to another account, and one that was already closed are answered identically, for the two reasons unlink answers a repeat with 204: the caller asked for a state the row is already in, and a route that distinguished them would turn a guessed id into a membership oracle. Only the request that actually performed the transition writes the audit row.
