Bestsellers
LIVE Amazon Best Sellers list for one category — up to 100 products in Amazon's rank order (rank, ASIN, title, link, image, rating, ratings_total, price), the category's full breadcrumb name and path (current_category), and its direct subcategories with their URLs, so a caller can walk the tree. A root URL (or country alone) returns the marketplace's top-level categories instead (page_type "root").
Fetched from Amazon at request time — expect ~15-35 s for the top 100, ~15 s for a root list (set client timeouts to 180 s+). Amazon refreshes these lists hourly, so an answer may come from our cache: up to 30 min old for a category, 24 h for the root list (cached, cache_age_seconds, observed_at = when the list was fetched from Amazon).
Billing: 1 credit per page of 50 products returned (the full top 100 = 2), cached or fresh — it is the same list. The root list is free. A category Amazon does not have (404), a blocked fetch (502) and an empty list are never billed; a partial answer (page 2 failed) bills the page returned.
Honest limits: names are in the page's language (German pages are local; fr / it / es / jp / mx / br are requested in English); ranks are Amazon's at fetch time; price is null when the card shows none; node_id is null where Amazon's URL carries only a slug (top-level departments).
