Top-level comments on a public YouTube video, from the official Data API v3 (videos.list + commentThreads.list, 2 quota units). Returns the comment TEXT (textOriginal, not the HTML of textDisplay), the date and the like count -- and metrics.replies is totalReplyCount, which measures without identifying. WHO WROTE EACH COMMENT IS NOT RETURNED: the four author fields the API sends are read and discarded, because an item has no author field in this contract. The embedded replies.comments are not flattened into the list; call youtube/video/comment/replies with the comment id.
