The first call is the ANCHOR and it is not ceremony: the API answers 200 with items: [] for a playlist that does not exist, and playlistItems.list on a missing playlist returns the same empty list an empty playlist returns -- without it, 404 and "empty playlist" would be the same answer. One page of up to 50: the playlist size and contentDetails.itemCount are NOT returned, and has_more is null, never false. The playlist title is not returned either -- the envelope has no field for a collection name, so author is the owning channel.
