Backups

Report whether an existing service can produce a Cloud-restorable backup.

Changed on

This probes the running container instead of trusting its configured image name: operators can build their own WAL-G image, and an image label alone cannot prove that the binary is actually executable.

Request

  • Base URL: /api (relative, and the document was published on a file host, not at the API’s origin)
  • URL: /api/backups/external-services/{id}/capability
  • Auth: HTTP bearer

Path parameters

idinteger required

Response

Cloud backup compatibility

artifactstring required

Concrete artifact Cloud would mirror, such as walg_repository, redis_walg_stream, or object_set.

cloud_backup_compatibleboolean required

Whether this running service can produce the physical WAL-G repository required by Temps Cloud. Logical dump fallback is intentionally not considered compatible.

enginestring required
reasonstring nullable
recommended_imagestring nullable
remediationstring nullable
verifiedboolean required

False when Docker or the target container was unavailable, meaning the endpoint intentionally did not guess whether required tools exist.

wal_g_installedboolean required
