Fetch a satellite-derived indicator aggregated over a region
On-demand satellite signals (fire detections, NO2/SO2/CO columns, aerosol index, vegetation index, rainfall, temperature, soil moisture) aggregated server-side at the provider over a country, state/province, or bounding box — returned as a small time series with source attribution. Regions: ISO3/country name, 'Country/State', or 'bbox:w,s,e,n'. At most 50 intervals per call; results are cached. For fires, NDVI, and the Sentinel-5P columns, aggregation='grid' returns the spatial pattern (one row per lat/lon grid cell) instead of a time series; for fires, aggregation='points' returns the individual detections (only when the window has at most 500) and aggregation='seasons' returns the same calendar window in every year since 2012, one row per year. Fires come from our own detection database, so they allow 200 intervals per call, a chosen grid resolution, and include_flares to count gas flares and other permanent heat sources.
