CLV and expected win for a special/prop bet

Given a special bet description, finds the matching Pinnacle event and contestant via fuzzy name matching, then returns closing odds, true (de-vigged) closing odds, expected win and CLV.

Formulas:

  • clv = bet_price / true_closing_odds - 1
  • expected_win = bet_stake * clv

Matching: Fuzzy-matches runner names to find the event, then fuzzy-matches special_name and contestant_name (token_set_ratio, WRatio tiebreak) within that event's specials closing data. Returns 404 if not found.

Home team name. Fuzzy matched.

Away team name. Fuzzy matched.

special_namestring required

Special/prop name (e.g. "Player Points"). Fuzzy matched.

contestant_namestring required

Contestant/selection name (e.g. "Over"). Fuzzy matched.

bet_stakenumber required

Stake amount (any currency).

bet_pricenumber required

Decimal odds you got at your book.

handicapnumber nullable

Handicap/line value if applicable. Must match exactly.
