Arabic Lunar Mansions (月站二十八宿)
The Arabic 28 Lunar Mansions — Manāzil al-Qamar (منازل القمر): the first Islamic astrology in the catalogue (the Islamic tradition here is otherwise geomancy), and the third great lunar-mansion system alongside the Chinese 二十八宿 and the Vedic 27 nakṣatra. The Moon travels ~13°/day and occupies one of 28 equal mansions (360/28 = 12°51′26″) for a little under a day; from a date (+ optional time & UTC offset) the engine places the Moon in its mansion and names it (al-Sharaṭayn, al-Thurayyā/Pleiades, al-Qalb/Antares, Saʿd al-Suʿūd, …) with its anchoring star, meaning and the Saʿd 'lucky' cluster (mansions 22–25). The PRIMARY reading uses the SIDEREAL (star-anchored) frame authentic to the anwāʾ tradition of al-Bīrūnī and Ibn Qutayba (Moon − Lahiri ayanamsa), and it also reports the TROPICAL (Agrippa/Picatrix) mansion of the later European talismanic tradition — the two diverge by ~2 mansions, and both are disclosed. Each mansion carries the classical Agrippa electional one-liner (its Latinized name and traditional 'good for / bad for' act), explicitly flagged as the European-talismanic layer, not classical Islamic astronomy. Deterministic on the shared Meeus ephemeris and GOLD-LOCKED to Meeus Example 47.a (1992 Apr 12.0 → Moon 133.16°, sidereal mansion 9 al-Ṭarf / tropical mansion 11 al-Zubrah). A symbolic tradition for reflection — not a validated predictor; no medical/financial/legal advice.
