Hōigami (方位神 Directional Deities) (方位神)

方位神 HŌIGAMI — the directional deities printed at the head of every traditional Japanese koyomi, the onmyōdō layer that tells the year's lucky and blocked bearings. THREE FAMILIES, all pure year-arithmetic: 歳徳神 Toshitokujin, whose bearing is the 恵方 — the direction the whole country faces to eat the setsubun ehōmaki (anchored at load to the published ehō of 2024–2027: 東北東→西南西→南南東→北北西); the 八将神 Eight Generals seated by the year branch — 太歳 (the year itself, auspicious), 大将軍 (the dreaded three-year blockade: 万事に凶), 太陰, 歳刑, 歳破 (always the year's opposite — travel and moving), 歳殺, 黄幡 and 豹尾 — each with its classical avoidances and planet; and 金神 Konjin of the 金神七殺, occupying a stem-fixed SET of bearings where earth-moving, building and marriage are shunned. TWO-WITNESS TABLES: the 96-cell 八将神 table agrees cell-for-cell between the Japanese Wikipedia and komonjyo.net; the ehō rule between Wikipedia and kinendar; the 金神 sets between Wikipedia and komonjyo.net. SELF-PROVING at load: 歳破 opposes the year, 豹尾 opposes 黄幡, 太陰 trails by two, 大将軍 holds its three-year stations, the 三合 triads stay constant, 歳刑 reproduces the classical punishments (辰午酉亥 self-punishing). The 立春 year-boundary question and the school-variable day-level exceptions (金神間日, 大将軍遊行日) are disclosed, not fabricated. Complements the Nine Star Ki 方位 endpoint (the 九星 layer) and 天一神 (the day cycle). Pure compute, no LLM.
