Byzantine Creation Era (Anno Mundi) (拜占庭創世紀元)
THE BYZANTINE CREATION ERA (Etos Kosmou) — the official reckoning of the East Roman world for a thousand years: the Ecumenical Patriarchate from c. 691, the Empire itself to 1453, and Russia until Peter the Great — years counted from the Creation placed at 1 SEPTEMBER 5509 BC, the year still opening on 1 September, the Orthodox church new year (the Indiction). Civil days are the Julian calendar's; the era is the whole difference: AM = AD + 5509 from September, + 5508 from January — 1 September 2026 opens AM 7535. HISTORY'S OWN ANCHORS ASSERTED AT LOAD: the fall of Constantinople (Julian 29 May 1453) in AM 6961; the YEAR 7000 (September 1491 – August 1492), whose approach emptied the paschal tables and set off genuine end-of-the-world panic in Moscow; and the era's famous full stop — Russia went to sleep in December of AM 7208 and woke on 1 January 1700 by Peter's decree. THE CROSS-ENGINE LAW: the Byzantine indiction (AM mod 15, remainder 0 = 15) is PROVEN at load to agree with the catalogue's computus engine's Roman indiction across five centuries, on both sides of the September shift — two engines, two eras, one cycle. The rival world-eras (Alexandrian 5493 BC; the Hebrew calendar's 3761 BC, served by its own engine here) are DISCLOSED side by side, never averaged. Christian becomes four systems. Pure compute, no LLM.
