Pre-apply structural lint of a WordPress page (server-side, deterministic — no browser): flags Pro-widget use, unsupported deep nesting, empty bands, and section bloat, so the agent catches issues before writing. Visual checks (contrast, mobile overflow, stretched columns) are the separate rendering tier.
