GetYoutubeLiveStreamInfo

GetYoutubeLiveStreamInfo names a YouTube video (title and channel name) through YouTube oEmbed. Channel live detection is retired: a channel-only query returns error "channel_live_detection_retired", and the channel, is_live and hls_url fields are deprecated.

channelstring

Deprecated: YouTube channel handle or ID. Channel live detection is retired; a channel-only query returns error "channel_live_detection_retired".

video_idstring

YouTube video ID to name.

jmespathstring

Optional JMESPath expression applied server-side to project or reduce the JSON response before it is returned (mirrors the MCP jmespath argument). Invalid expressions, expressions larger than 1024 UTF-8 bytes, or projections that exceed the 256 KB output cap return HTTP 400 with a {_jmespath_error, original_keys} envelope. Always false: oEmbed does not report whether a video is live.

channelExistsboolean

Deprecated: true only when the oEmbed lookup succeeded, so it now carries exactly error == "".

channelNamestring

Human-readable channel name.

Always empty: YouTube manifest URLs are no longer returned.

titlestring

Video title.

errorstring

"channel_live_detection_retired" for a channel-only query, or why the video lookup failed.
