Create a factory task

Create a task in a factory, bound to an existing agent conversation. title and conversation_id are required. The stage defaults to TRIAGE. The conversation's most recent run must be owned by the factory's team, and a conversation may be bound to at most one live task across all factories.

The public UID of the factory.

titlestring required

Human-readable title of the task. Required and non-empty.

conversation_idstring required

UUID of the agent conversation to bind the task to. The conversation's most recent run must be owned by the factory's team, and the conversation must not already be bound to a live task. Confirmed Branch scope must belong to the requested Factory. Binding cannot grant execution scope.

Optional description of the task.

stage'TRIAGE' | 'SPEC' | 'IMPLEMENT' | 'REVIEW' | 'COMPLETE' | 'CANCELLED'

Lifecycle stage of a factory task, mirroring the seeded factory agent roles plus the terminal COMPLETE and CANCELLED states. COMPLETE and CANCELLED are terminal in intent but not enforced: any stage may be written explicitly at any time. CANCELLED is set automatically when the task's current top-level run is cancelled, regardless of that run's agent type.

factory_uidstring required

Public UID of the factory the task belongs to. Fixed at creation.

conversation_idstring required

UUID of the agent conversation the task is bound to.

run_idstring required

ID of the bound conversation's most recent run at task creation. This is a provenance snapshot and is not updated afterward; consumers needing the conversation's live latest run should resolve it via the conversation.

titlestring required

Human-readable title of the task.

ticket_sourcestring

Canonical ticket source from the bound run. Present on list responses only when full_list=true and ticket metadata exists.

ticket_idstring

Canonical ticket ID from the bound run. Present on list responses only when full_list=true and ticket metadata exists.

Time the task was last created, updated, or deleted. Artifact reporting does not bump this; new outputs appear on the next detail read.
