Classify Document

Classify a URL by checking its actual Content-Type header.

This endpoint is called by the Excel add-in only when local URL pattern matching couldn't determine the document type (e.g., URLs without .pdf extension). It makes a HEAD request to check the actual Content-Type served by the URL.

Returns:

  • document_type: The detected type (pdf, website, excel, csv)
  • content_type: The actual HTTP Content-Type header
