People

Collect a lookup that was still running

Required permissions: people:enrich_phone.

The state of one lookup started by POST /v1/contacts/lookup — in practice a phone. status is pending until the lookup finishes, then found, not_found, or failed and it stays that way. Poll every 10 to 15 seconds. A phone lookup typically finishes within two minutes, but can take up to four. Attempts expire two hours after acceptance. On failed, stop polling this ID; the nested error explains why. A new POST /v1/contacts/lookup may be tried later, with normal charges and no automatic refund. Polling is free.

This response does not include the person. Keep a note of who each lookupId refers to.

Trayo saves a found or not_found answer for repeat requests, so re-sending the original POST after it settles returns it with source: "saved" and no charge — either way of collecting it works.
