Create Project From Template

Create a project from a template, returning only its ID and success status.

Requires data:read_write. Setup templates are not supported. Workspace templates can only be imported into their associated workspace. Calendar defaults are applied to the project according to the destination plan.

Request body

template_idstring required

Curated template slug or saved template ID with a UT_ prefix.

namestring

Project name. Empty or omitted uses the localized template name.

localestring

Locale for curated template content, with the template's English fallback.

workspace_idstring nullable

Destination workspace ID. Omit to create a personal project.

folder_idstring nullable

Destination folder ID. Requires workspace_id and a folder in that workspace.
