Resolve a symbol or ISIN as of a date

Resolve a historical NSE symbol or ISIN to the company that held it on a date, for old holdings files or backtests where a ticker may since have been renamed or reused. status is present, uncertain (the date is in an unobserved bracket around a rename or ISIN change: quarantine it rather than assert the mapping), not_found (no company held the value on that date, within coverage) or out_of_coverage (outside meta.coverage: never report it as 'no such symbol'). Coverage usually ends a session or two before today, so a call without date can answer out_of_coverage. Every company that matches is listed in matches with its state, observed range and its latest known symbol and isin for the per-stock routes; a recycled ticker therefore shows both holders.
