8-K material events filed by the given CIK in the inclusive [from_date, to_date] window. The items CSV filter restricts to filings declaring at least one of the requested item codes (set intersection). If items is omitted the default is 1.01,2.01,5.02,8.01: a filing that declares none of these four codes is left out, for example one with only 2.02 (results of operations), 1.03 (bankruptcy or receivership) or 1.05 (material cybersecurity incidents), and so is a filing with no item code; a filing that declares one of the four is kept with all of its item codes. An explicit list replaces the default, so to include those filings pass items=1.01,2.01,5.02,8.01,2.02,1.03,1.05; pass items=all (or *) to disable the filter. total_events_unfiltered counts events before filtering. Retention 730 days; out-of-window from_date returns 422.

CSV of 8-K item codes to filter to: a filing is kept when it declares at least one of them, with all of its item codes. Default (omitted) = '1.01,2.01,5.02,8.01', so a filing that declares none of these (e.g. only 2.02, 1.03 or 1.05) is left out. An explicit list replaces the default. Pass 'all' or '*' to disable the filter.
