The upstream dataset is frozen but remains the canonical cross-country COVID-19 reference compiled from Johns Hopkins CSSE, WHO, and national health agencies. Returns daily rows with new_cases, new_deaths, total_cases, total_deaths. Licence: CC BY 4.0 with upstream attribution.

Query parameters

countrystring nullable

Country name (case-insensitive) or ISO3 code. Recommended for COVID endpoint since the panel is very large.

start_datestring nullable

Inclusive start date (YYYY-MM-DD). Maps to date column of the bulk CSV.

end_datestring nullable

Inclusive end date (YYYY-MM-DD).

Response

Filtered covid rows plus a CC BY 4.0 attribution block naming Johns Hopkins CSSE and WHO as originating providers.
