Shows

Serve a show's site on its own domain.

Serve the show's site on its own domain (hnradio.net) instead of sleeper.show/{slug}, or domain: null to go back. The answer names the two DNS records to add at the domain's DNS provider (a CNAME to shows.sleeper.show and a TXT proving it is yours) and where it stands: needs_records, securing (found; the address is being secured) or live. Calling it again with the same domain checks it again now. Episodes live at {site}/{season}/{episode} on either address. redirects (≤2000: { from: an old path, to: a path on the show's site or an https address }) replaces the table that moves an old site's links, so a moved site keeps working. Free.

The domain, like hnradio.net; null serves the show on sleeper.show again.

Response

The show as it now reads: site.domain names the DNS records and where it stands.

seriesIdstring required
state'not_set_up' | 'off' | 'on' | 'paused' | 'external' required
pausedReasonstring nullable required
showsRunningboolean required

False: shows aren't running across Sleeper (the operator's switch); a show made by Sleeper runs again when they do.
