Get a file download URL

Returns short-lived presigned URLs for the file backing a document node — one for inline viewing and one that forces a download — plus the file's name, type, and size. Pass ?version=<n> to target a specific version.

Path parameters

idstring uuid required

The document node's kb_node_id.

Query parameters

versioninteger

Download a specific version number instead of the latest.

Response

Presigned download URLs for the node's file.

urlstring required

Presigned URL that renders the file inline (e.g. in a browser).

download_urlstring required

Presigned URL that forces a download (Content-Disposition attachment).

filenamestring required

Original file name of the stored document.

content_typestring required

MIME type of the stored file.

file_size_bytesinteger required

Size of the file in bytes.

expiry_utc_msinteger required

Unix epoch time in milliseconds when the presigned URLs expire.
