Markdown, with frontmatter a parser can read. The answer is that there is no account, no API key, no OAuth and no signup: free doors answer anonymous requests, paid doors take a signed x402 payment at the moment of the call. The machine-readable twin is /.well-known/oauth-protected-resource.
