Search cross-border CORPORATE insolvency notices

Corporate insolvency notices from official gazettes and registers across FR, DE, GB, AT, CH, NO, FI, US, NL, DK, HR, SE, ES, LV and EE.

Corporate only. Personal/consumer insolvency is deliberately excluded and is never returned.

Company-linked for FR/GB/NO and, by identifier, FI (business ID), DK (CVR number), HR (MBS), SE (organisationsnummer), CH (UID), LV (registration number), EE (registry code) and ES (NIF). GET /companies/{id}?include=insolvency on a Finnish, Danish, Croatian, Swedish, Swiss, Latvian or Estonian company returns them; a Swiss notice is linked only where the SHAB notice names the debtor's UID, and one without a UID stays unlinked. For DE/AT/US/NL no company registry is held, so these notices stand alone — which is also why they are worth having: they are distress coverage in markets not otherwise available.

Denmark, Croatia and Sweden. DK notices come from CVR credit information (konkurs and tvangsakkord): one notice per proceeding, dated by the decision that opened it, with the latest stage of the proceeding, with no court or case number. HR notices are court decisions from the Croatian court register (bankruptcy, shortened bankruptcy, pre-bankruptcy proceedings), with the court and case number where the register states them; only companies still on the register are covered. SE notices are Bolagsverket's procedure data (konkurs, företagsrekonstruktion, ackordsförhandling), updated weekly, with no court, case number or source link; proceedings that ended before collection are not included. Belgium is not an insolvency market: its bankruptcy shows in the company status and in its register-change events.

Spain, Latvia and Estonia. ES notices are the concurso entries (declaration, opening of the liquidation phase, conclusion) the Registro Mercantil publishes in BORME since 2009, one per court resolution, linked by NIF and dated by the court's resolution date with the BORME publication date alongside (a median of about ten weeks later, sometimes more than a year); legal entities with a NIF only, judge and administrator never served, requests for a declaration and other resolutions are not notices, and an entry that cannot be tied to the company, or whose NIF is an administrator's, is withheld. LV notices are the Insolvency Register's insolvency and legal protection proceedings, an opening and a closing notice each, since 2008, with court and case number where stated, linked by registration number; legal persons of the commercial register only, a dismissed application is not served, no administrators, updated daily. EE notices are bankruptcy declarations from the e-Business Register, one per register entry, dated by the entry (a few days after the court's order), linked by registry code, with no court, case number, trustee or closing notice; companies still on the register, in liquidation or in bankruptcy only (a company deleted from the register leaves the source, so the count is a floor); sole traders never served. GET /companies/{id}?include=insolvency on a Latvian or Estonian company returns them.

Contains CVR data (Erhvervsstyrelsen), CC BY 4.0. Contains data from the Insolvency Register of the Republic of Latvia (Register of Enterprises), CC0. Contains data from the Estonian e-Business Register (RIK), CC BY 4.0. Spanish notices: based on data from the Agencia Estatal Boletín Oficial del Estado (BORME).

Name matching is a CONTAINS match on the normalised company name (trigram-indexed; minimum 2 characters).

Each notice carries status (standard: insolvency-proceedings, liquidation, winding-up, restructuring, administration, receivership, forced-sale, concluded) and local_status, the original wording of the source (for example "Konkurs: Dekret").

namestring

Company name — matched anywhere in the normalised name. Best matches come first among the 300 most recent matching notices and every exact name match; the older matches follow by filing date, so every match is reachable by paging.

company_numberstring

Registry number of the debtor, read in the register's own form (spaces and dots ignored; a SIRET gives its SIREN; a compact Y-tunnus or organisationsnummer, a short Companies House number a Croatian OIB, a Spanish NIF, an 11-digit Latvian registration number and an 8-digit Estonian registry code are accepted). For Germany an HRA/HRB number is only unique within its register court (HRB12653 is held by five companies), so notices carry the number with the court, HRB12653/FRANKFURT-AM-MAIN (court city upper case, ä/ö/ü as AE/OE/UE, ß as SS, other runs of punctuation one hyphen); where the court is not known the bare number stays. Send HRB 12653 Frankfurt am Main, Frankfurt am Main HRB 12653, Amtsgericht Frankfurt am Main, HRB 12653 or HRB12653/FRANKFURT-AM-MAIN to select one court; HRB 12653 alone matches every court, and meta.register_courts and meta.notice then list them. Without country the number is read by its shape: a shape that fits one register selects it; one that fits several (9 digits: FR SIREN, NO organisation number or HR MBS; 8 digits: GB, DK, NL or FI) returns rows from each, labelled by source_country, and lists them in meta.number_countries.
