Delete a mainframe pipeline by ID
Deletes a mainframe pipeline by its ID within a project. Supports optional deletion of pipeline configuration only.
Process Overview:
- Validates that the project and pipeline exist and the user has permission to delete the pipeline.
- If configOnly is true, deletes only the pipeline configuration from the Data Integrity Suite.
- If configOnly is false (default), performs a full deletion including runtime components.
Configuration Only Deletion Behavior: Delete pipeline configuration only. This action is not recommended. Use this option only when the runtime processes for this pipeline no longer exist. This action cannot be undone. Exporting the pipeline before continuing is highly recommended.
After the pipeline configuration is deleted from the Data Integrity Suite: Manual cleanup of runtime processes will be needed.
Required Permissions: replication-pipeline::delete when permission harmonization is enabled; otherwise, replication-pipeline::manage.
