Add a private note to a ticket.

The note is visible to your team only. The request has no privacy field, so this endpoint never sends anything to the customer.

The ticket's UUID or its numeric ticket number.

project_idstring required

Project ID of the project you're trying to access. To find the ID of the project, make a call to /api/projects/.

Note content in markdown. The note is visible to your team only and is never sent to the customer.

Response

An identical note was already posted by a recent request. The original note is returned and nothing new is written.

Email of the authoring PostHog user, when the message was written by one (support replies and internal notes). Null for customer and AI messages.

True when the complete inbound email body can be retrieved.

Edit count. 0 means never edited.
