Posts

Update post

Update a draft or scheduled post, including a teammate's post in a shared workspace (per your role there).

Editors may edit a draft; anything already scheduled, paused, or failed needs a publisher, and moving scheduled_at always needs a publisher, even on a draft.

If a client has already approved the post, a caption edit reopens caption approval and a media or thumbnail edit reopens asset approval. A reschedule, account change or settings change cannot be attributed to one axis and reopens both.

For X posts, updated content is re-validated against the current URL restriction and monthly X allowance.
