Which payment gateway applies to the current user.

The pricing/billing UI calls this to decide between Stripe checkout and Razorpay Checkout JS (and which currency to display).

Uses real-time IP geolocation so the gateway adapts when the user's location changes (soft lock, not hard lock to signup IP).
