Describe a OneDrive or SharePoint file pull for host file transport

Changed on

Returns the file's drive, eTag revision and the exact format and size a pull would save, without downloading content. Hosts then fetch the content route in ranged chunks. Optional connectionId selects a Microsoft 365 connection; unavailable selections never fall back to the default.

Query parameters

driveIdstring

The file's driveId from a search, folder or link result. Omit for the member's own OneDrive.

itemIdstring
urlstring starts_with

A OneDrive, SharePoint or Teams file link instead of driveId and itemId.

format'pdf'

pdf converts a Word, Excel, PowerPoint or other Office file; omit to transfer the stored bytes.

connectionIdstring

Selected Microsoft 365 connection; omit for the default. Unavailable selections never fall back to another account.
