The complete record behind a marker or a saved reference
Accepts a marker id (mk_…) or a saved reference (mr_…). Returns the same record object POST /v1/search returns, a lasting recordRef, and a billing block that says whether this open was charged.
Billing. One record open per person per map response.

Opening the same marker id again is free (reason: "marker_already_opened").

A new viewport or groups response carries new ids. Opening the same person from it is a new charge.

recordRef is a lasting reference for bookmarks and shared links. Opening by reference is one record open, then free for 24 hours. A record just opened from a marker is also free by its reference for 24 hours.

record_no_longer_listed, test mode and every other error response are not billed.
Marker ids work for 24 hours, and only for the account they were issued to. Photo links on hosted photos are signed and work in an <img> tag for one hour.
