Creates a new mod file using the data from a finalised upload session.

Note that this is for entirely new files, not new versions of existing files.

Request body

upload_idstring uuid required

The unique identifier for the upload.

mod_idstring required

The unique identifier for the mod this file belongs to.

  • Use get mod to get the game scoped ID for a mod using the data from a site URL e.g. /skyrimspecialedition/mods/12604.
namestring required

Mod file name.

versionstring required

Mod file version.

descriptionstring nullable

Description of the mod file.

file_category'main' | 'optional' | 'miscellaneous' required
primary_mod_manager_downloadboolean

Whether this file is the default download for mod managers.

allow_mod_manager_downloadboolean

Whether mod manager downloads are enabled for this file.

show_requirements_pop_upboolean

Whether to show a requirements popup when downloading this file.

update_mod_versionboolean

Whether to update the mod's version to match this file's version.
