List Folders

List the folders visible to the API key's team (offset pagination, #9317 contract).

Flat and path-sorted so the hierarchy reads top-down; hidden system folders (and everything beneath them) are pruned, and other users' private folders are invisible — the same view the app's file browser presents. The collection is small and team-scoped, so total is the true count.

Query parameters

parent_idstring nullable

Filter to one level: a folder id (fld_...) for its direct subfolders, or the literal root for top-level folders. Omit to list every folder you can see (flat, path-sorted).

limitinteger

Max folders per page. Defaults to 50, caps at 200.

offsetinteger

Folders to skip — pass offset + limit to page through.

Calendar-dated API version pin. New integrations should pin 2026-05-01 to opt into the newest response shapes. For back-compat the server also accepts requests with no header and resolves them to the current default (today: 2026-04-12); that default advances on each sunset date. Any unsupported value returns 400 unsupported_version.
