Unauthenticated and cacheable, mirroring /v1/meta/fields: pricing is part of the API's self-description, so an agent can read what a call will cost before making it. It is also the SINGLE source of truth the website's pricing page parity-tests against — two hand-maintained price tables is how a pricing page ends up lying.

The payload is computed once at import (the catalog is static code), so the ETag is stable for the life of a deploy.
