The "email or phoneNumber is required" rule used to live here as a @Validate(EmailOrPhoneConstraint) on this property — where it could never fire. @ValidateIf skips EVERY validator on a property when its predicate is false, so the cross-field check ran only when email was already present. CrmService.createContact enforces the (deliberately weaker) rule instead; see the comment there.
