Claim Verifications

Claim anonymous verifications into the authenticated account.

Transfers every still-unclaimed verification belonging to the given anonymous_user_id to the caller's account, so a user who verified photos anonymously and then registered keeps those verifications.

Authentication Required: Valid API key or JWT token

Request Body: ClaimVerificationsRequest containing:

  • anonymous_user_id: The client-generated anonymous ID (a bearer secret) under which the verifications were created.

Behavior:

  • Idempotent: re-claiming an already-claimed set from the same account returns claimed: 0.
  • Transfer-only: the endpoint never enumerates or returns verifications for an arbitrary anonymous_user_id — you only ever see what you successfully claim.
  • Claimed verifications appear in the account's history but do not consume the account's monthly quota.

Status Codes:

  • 200: Claim processed (see claimed for how many transferred)
  • 409: The verifications are already owned by a different account
  • 410: The verifications are older than the 30-day claim window
  • 429: Too many claim attempts for this account
