Get YouTube broadcast analytics

Retrieve YouTube Analytics data for a specific broadcast, including views, watch time, engagement, revenue, traffic sources, demographics, devices, and geography.

This is separate from /lives/{liveId}/video-playlists-analytics which tracks internal video playlist playback events. This endpoint queries the YouTube Analytics API directly for the YouTube video associated with the broadcast.

Included with every paid plan.

Important notes:

  • Revenue data may be null for non-monetized channels
  • Data for live broadcasts may have latency — YouTube Analytics is not real-time
  • For multi-destination broadcasts (multiple YouTube accounts), specify accountId
  • YouTube analytics consent must be granted first via /auth/youtube/analytics

YouTube account ID. Required when the broadcast has multiple YouTube destinations. Available account IDs are returned in the ACCOUNT_SELECTION_REQUIRED error response.

Example:2025-01-01

Start date for analytics data (inclusive). Defaults to broadcast start date.

endDatestring date
Example:2025-01-28

End date for analytics data (inclusive). Defaults to broadcast end date or today.
