Requires organizations.settings.write and admin or owner. expectedSlug must match the current locked organization row. Reserves the previous slug and renames runtime routes. Existing org-slug-rename flag applies. Slugs use 3 to 20 lowercase letters, digits and internal hyphens. Requires a user-delegated OAuth token. Organization API keys are refused. Enforced after scope and role authorization: rollout-agent-access-writes (default off) and allow-public-agent-writes (default on). Reads remain available when writes are paused.
