Sitemap Xml

Root sitemap. Returns a sitemap-index that points to per-section files (apps, blog, tags, categories, static).

Rate-limit-free by design — crawlers (Google, Bing, IndexNow consumers, third-party SEO tools) burst from shared IP ranges and a 429 here marks the sitemap as broken in Search Console. Per-section caches keep DB pressure flat regardless of crawl rate, and Cache-Control lets Cloudflare/edge cache the response so most hits never reach the app.

Backward-compat: when an operator has saved a full sitemap_xml override (legacy single-file shape), we serve that verbatim instead of the index so existing Search Console submissions don't break.
