Channel Commission

Get listing level channel commission

Changed on

Returns channel commission entries stored specifically for the given listing (unit type).

This does not resolve account-level inheritance — it returns only listing-level stored values. Each item includes levelEntityType set to UNIT_TYPE. When no listing-level commissions exist, the response is an empty array. If unitTypeId is a sub-unit, it is remapped to the parent unit type before lookup (sub-units are not rejected with 400 on this path). PUT /unit-type/{unitTypeId} does not remap — it stores under the ID you send — so prefer the parent unit type ID when writing so GET and PUT address the same listing-level commissions. Use the /actual endpoint to get the commissions that currently apply based on the listing level configuration.

Path parameters

unitTypeIdstring required
Example:df7hf01cnduhdb2125854dj8

Listing / unit type ID (for example df7hf01cnduhdb2125854dj8). A sub-unit ID is remapped to its parent unit type for lookup (not rejected). Prefer the parent unit type ID so this matches PUT storage.

Response

Listing-level channel commission entries, or an empty array when none are stored

_idstring

ID of this channel commission entry. Use this value as channelCommissionId on PATCH and DELETE.

taxnumber

Tax percentage on the channel commission (0–100). Omitted when no tax is set.

sourcestring required

Booking source within the channel. Often the same as channel for direct channels; can differ for channel managers.

channelstring required

Booking channel name (for example bookingCom, airbnb2, homeaway2, or manual)

isPreDeductboolean

When true, Guesty automatically deducts the channel commission from the host payout for this source. Applies only to the manual channel. Omitted or false when not used.

Where this commission comes from: ACCOUNT for account settings, or UNIT_TYPE for listing settings
