Call images.start_board

'start a new image board for the launch thumbnails', 'open a board for our October post images' — open a NEW image board in this workspace under the given name, with the opening request waiting in its composer, UNSENT. One call: it answers the new board's id and name and open_path — the link that lands a member on the board with the request ready. Nothing is generated and nothing is spent: pictures are made only when a member presses send. Not for making images on a board that already exists — that is images.generate or images.batch.

Every result names the workspace it ran in. Say which workspace the answer is about. When the account has more than one workspace and none is selected, this tool refuses with workspace_ambiguous and lists the choices — offer them, never pick one.

Headers

x-request-idstring

Your own id for this request, echoed back and recorded on the audit trail. 1–128 characters from A–Z a–z 0–9 . _ : -, starting with a letter or digit; anything else is replaced by a generated id.

Request body

namestring required

What to call the board, in the operator's own words — what the pictures are FOR ("Launch thumbnails", "October post images"), never a generic placeholder.

opening_requeststring required

The request to leave waiting in the board's composer: what to make, how many, and at what shape, written as the operator would say it. Build it from what they actually told you — never invent a brief they did not describe.

workspacestring

Which workspace to run in — its slug. Omit to use your default. With more than one reachable workspace and no default, the call is refused and the choices are listed.

Response

The call was admitted and dispatched. ok says whether the tool succeeded — a refusal the tool itself produced is still a 200, exactly as it is a successful JSON-RPC result over MCP.
