Call images.save_style

'save this look so we can use it again', 'turn this image into a saved style' — save one image's look as a named, reusable workspace style. The name is required; saving the same image twice changes nothing and the answer says it was already a style. Not for keeping the image itself in the Library — that is images.save_to_library.

Every result names the workspace it ran in. Say which workspace the answer is about. When the account has more than one workspace and none is selected, this tool refuses with workspace_ambiguous and lists the choices — offer them, never pick one.

Headers

x-request-idstring

Your own id for this request, echoed back and recorded on the audit trail. 1–128 characters from A–Z a–z 0–9 . _ : -, starting with a letter or digit; anything else is replaced by a generated id.

Request body

generation_idstring required

The id of the image whose LOOK should be saved.

namestring required

What to call the style — REQUIRED, because this is how the operator picks it later. Use their words if they named it; otherwise propose a short descriptive name and say what you chose.

notestring nullable

Optional 'when to use this' note for the operator's own reference.

boardstring uuid

Optional: the board this image is being saved from, by id — recorded as where it came from. Omit when there is none.

workspacestring

Which workspace to run in — its slug. Omit to use your default. With more than one reachable workspace and no default, the call is refused and the choices are listed.

Response

The call was admitted and dispatched. ok says whether the tool succeeded — a refusal the tool itself produced is still a 200, exactly as it is a successful JSON-RPC result over MCP.
