Delete a VM

Permanently deletes one VM and its disk, releases its IP, and removes it from any project. Requires the "delete" permission and the X-Confirm: delete header. Without the header the response is 400 CONFIRMATION_REQUIRED with a summary of what would be deleted. Update any DNS records pointing at the VM afterwards.

Must be the literal string "delete". Omit it to get a 400 CONFIRMATION_REQUIRED response describing what would be deleted.

X-Dry-Run'true' | 'false'

Set to "true" to preview the operation (validation, cost, plan) without making changes.

Idempotency-Keystring

Unique key for safe retries. Repeating a request with the same key returns the original response instead of re-executing.
