Anthropogenic Lockdown Detect

Detect economic disruption from suppressed urban noise.

Analyses seismic noise activity index for anomalous quiet periods that indicate lockdowns, strikes, holidays, or economic downturns. A quiet period is flagged when the activity index drops more than the specified threshold below the reference level.

Parameters (JSON body):

  • city : str -- City name (default 'Mexico City').
  • station : str -- Optional specific RS station code.
  • duration_minutes : int -- Data duration in minutes (default 1440 = 24h).
  • drop_threshold_percent : float -- Percent drop from reference to trigger detection (default 30).

Returns detected quiet periods with timing, severity, and interpretation.
