Regulations

Get a regulation by ID

Full detail for one regulation (decreto/resolución/circular/normativa): title, type, issuing entity, publication date, and external_link (citable source URL, may be null — coverage varies). Regulation ids are globally unique; no country_code needed. Use list_regulations(entity_id=..., ...) first if you don't have the id yet.

Data sources: official gazettes and issuing-agency portals, scraped daily or twice daily per country — e.g. Diário Oficial da União (in.gov.br), El Peruano (gob.pe), Boletín Oficial de la República Argentina, Diario Oficial de la Federación (dof.gob.mx), Diario Oficial de Chile, Gaceta Oficial de Venezuela/Panamá, and 30+ Colombian entity sites. Every record links to the original publication via external_link.

  • Base URL: https://api.dapperglobal.com
  • URL: https://api.dapperglobal.com/v1/regulations/{id}
  • Auth: API key in header X-API-Key

Response

Successful response (real sample data)

dapper_urlstring nullable

This record's page in the Dapper platform (dapperglobal.com) — hand this to a person who wants the full detail. Use it as given; the routes are not derivable from the payload. null means the record has no page (see the field's per-domain notes), not that the link is missing. Distinct from external_link/congress_records[].link, which point at the original official document.
