Retrieve one admin conversation

Returns a single conversation from a company page's admin inbox by id, the same shape as a list item. The connected account must administer the page.

Path parameters

account_idstring required

The connected LinkedIn account, which must administer the page.

identifierstring required

The company's numeric id (e.g. 112013061), the id field from GET .../companies/{identifier} or a search/companies result. A handle or URN is not accepted here.

chat_idstring required

The conversation id in the "2-..." form, the id field of a chats list or search result. Pass it verbatim.

Query parameters

expandstring

Extra fields to resolve, comma-separated in one value (expand=public_identifier). Present on every result as a value or null; repeating the key drops values.

Response

A single admin conversation, the same shape as a list item. last_message.text is returned verbatim and is never stored.

object'company_chat' required

Response type discriminator.

idstring required

The conversation id (2-... form): the key for retrieve-chat and get-messages.

is_group_chatboolean required

Group vs 1:1 conversation.

titlestring nullable

Group title, or the other participant's name for a 1:1.

unread_countinteger required

Unread message count (0 = read).

last_activity_atnumber nullable required

Epoch-ms of last activity; also the newest-first pagination anchor.
