Confirm Order

Confirms receipt of an order from a marketplace. Some marketplaces (such as Amazon) require sellers to acknowledge orders within a specified time window — failing to confirm within this window may result in automatic cancellation by the marketplace.

When to use: Call this endpoint after retrieving an order to acknowledge that you have accepted it and intend to fulfil it.

Considerations:

  • Rithum typically handles acknowledgement automatically for most marketplaces. Call this endpoint only if your workflow requires manual confirmation.
  • This endpoint is idempotent — calling it more than once on an already-confirmed order has no adverse effect.
  • Not all marketplaces require explicit confirmation; check marketplace-specific guidance if unsure.
