What an hourly rate is worth as a salary
Convert an hourly rate into a salary, before and after tax.
Gives gross weekly, fortnightly, monthly and annual, then PAYE, the ACC earner levy, KiwiSaver and any student loan, then what is actually left.
kiwisaver_rate is a DECIMAL. 0.03 means 3%. Sending 3 would try to contribute three times the salary and is rejected.
Two figures look similar and answer different questions. net_weekly divides by 52 always, so it is what lands each week across a whole year. effective_hourly_after_tax divides by the hours actually worked, so for a 40 week year it is higher. That second one is the number to compare a wage job against a salaried one.
Salary and wages only, on a primary tax code.
