Thai Maha Tak Sa (泰式八曜命盤)
Thai MAHA TAK SA (มหาทักษา / ทักษาปกรณ์) — the eight-fold weekday-planetary octad behind traditional Thai auspicious NAME-GIVING, a new Thai tradition. The system seats the eight Thai grahas (the seven weekday planets plus Rahu, who rules Wednesday NIGHT) around an octagon read through eight life-houses: บริวาร Boriwan (retinue), อายุ Ayu (life), เดช Decha (power), ศรี Sri (fortune), มูละ Mula (assets), อุตสาหะ Utsaha (diligence), มนตรี Montri (patrons) and กาลกิณี Kalakini (misfortune). The birth WEEKDAY's planet is seated at บริวาร and the rest fill the octad along the fixed Thai cycle (Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Saturn, Jupiter, Rahu, Venus), so the planet landing in กาลกิณี marks the group of Thai letters (อักษรวรรค) the naming tradition asks you to set aside — favour instead the อายุ/เดช/ศรี/มนตรี letters. Determined by the birth weekday alone (no ephemeris, no birth year); a time only splits Wednesday day (Mercury, 06:00–17:59) from night (Rahu, 18:00–05:59). An optional Thai-script name is checked against the octad and scored. Distinct from the Burmese Mahabote. We never call a person or a day unlucky — only the single กาลกิณี letter-group. Thai cultural naming & character guidance, deterministic from the birth weekday, not prediction.
